GLOBAL COMMUNITY GIVE-BACK

Visit an authentic Australian working farm Travel from Melbourne to rural Australia, and become a welcomed guest on a farm where you will experience a little of what it is like to be an Aussie family 'living off the land'.  You will watch the working dogs bring in a mob of sheep and a demonstration of sheep shearing skills.  Afterward travel to a secret charming location to enjoy a lunch featuring local organic farm produce and local wines.  Following lunch there will be an opportunity to further explore the property, taking in the native flora and fauna, and perhaps catching sight of a mob of kangaroos.  You will certainly enjoy this opportunity to be at one with nature, enjoying the peace and tranquility of life in this beautiful part of Victoria. A number of Australian farmers are committed to improving the environment, and over the years have planted over 250,000 native trees, fenced off vulnerable areas to rehabilitate them, and created wildlife corridors where native flora and fauna can thrive.  Here you can engage in a give-back activity, planting a tree for posterity and to contribute to the sustainability of the farm and the environment.

  • Ages to Travel

There are no age restrictions for our itineraries to Australia.

  • Time of Year to Travel

Year round Australia has a distinctly mild climate and whenever you travel there are many locations with perfect vacation and touring weather. Because the country is so large, recommendations may vary.  The most Northerly regions of Queensland, Northern Territory and Western Australia experience a distinctly tropical, hot, humid ‘wet’ season from December to March.  While snow only ever falls on high peaks in Southern States and never in cities, conditions can be quite crisp in the South from June to August.
