Preparing for Botswana
— Children under 12 receive a new friend, Baruti, who comes with a story book telling what his life is like in Botswana
— The whole family will receive recipes, books and movies preparing them for their safari
— Keep in mind that family tents book up well in advance. It is best to plan your safari up to a year in advance to secure a family tent.
— Due to age restrictions at our camps safari in Botswana is best for families with children over the age of six. Families with children 12 and under are required to secure their own private safari transportation and will have the opportunity to create their own private safari experience.
— A visa is not required for Botswana for a stay of up to 90 days.
— South Africa and Botswana require children under 18 to have a certified copy of their full, unabridged birth certificate as well as a valid passport. Please consult your travel advisor for complete information.
