Age Related Activities

Children Under 12

Take a step back in time; about three thousand years back, to be exact. Just a few miles from the center of Cairo is a time machine waiting to take you on your fantastic journey to the days of the Pharaohs, a time brought to life by an incredible group of actors and actresses, faithful and exact reproductions of buildings, clothing, and lifestyles.

Teen Itineraries

The Khan El Khalili Bazaar was built in 1382 by the Emir Djaharks el-Khalili in the heart of the Fatimid City Cairo, before America was discovered. Your guide will arrange for a treasure hunting activity to make your exploration of the souk an exciting experience.

Adult Itineraries

Enjoy a short plane ride from Cairo for a day trip to visit Abu Simbel.  The two temples of Ramses II at Abu Simbel are each fronted by colossal statues up to 20 meters high, and are famed as the most impressive monuments remaining of Ancient Egypt in modern times.

Preparing for Egypt

— Children under 12 receive a new friend, Eboni, who comes with a story book  telling what his life is like in Egypt

— The whole family will receive recipes, books and movies preparing them for their safari

— It is recommend that children be at least 3 years of age or older at the time of travel for our trips to Egypt.

— Summer is very hot in Egypt.  We avoid the desert south in summer and we are sure to suggest hotels with swimming pools. It is best to avoid the Ramadan holiday month while fasting during the day is observed in public. In 2017, Ramadan will be May 26-June 25; it moves 10 days earlier each year.
