GLOBAL COMMUNITY GIVE-BACK

Donkey Sanctuary Driving north east out of Killarney you reach County Cork and the Donkey Sanctuary, an open farm home to 134 donkeys. Their mission is to transform the quality of lives of donkeys, mules and people around the world by creating a greater understanding and appreciation of these animals. Your ‘giveback to the community’ afternoon starts with a greeting by the farm supervisor who will introduce you to the resident donkeys. You’ll then be treated to a fun and informative talk on what the sanctuary does and their history. Finally, pick up your brush and start brushing during your hands-on lesson in how to properly groom a donkey. Time permitting, you may wish to explore more of the sanctuary at your leisure crossing the beautiful walkways from where you can admire their 1,800 mules and donkeys.
