Resoration of Frescos

Witness yourself the restoration works at Palazzo Martelli. You will be shown the frescoes that you have contributed renovating in the ground floor of the Renaissance Building and learn more about the frescoes techniques as well as the restorative measures applied to give a new birth to the colors and shapes together with our local expert.


Day on an Organic Farm

Spend the day on a real organic farm located in the Chianti country side. Learn from Chef Andrea as you work side by side in his garden. You will see first hand how to care and maintain the plants and chickens that roam his courtyard. Finish the day with a cooking class where you will make an authentic Italian feast for mom and dad.

Dinner with locals

Exchange customs and cultures over a meal with a local Italian family. We will do our best to match your family with a local family with children of similar age. Over a meal in their home share your language, customs and stories. This is a great way to interact with local people and to really enjoy an authentic Italian meal. We can organize this activity in Venice, Florence & Rome.

Preparing  for Italy

— Children under 12 receive a new friend, Isabella, who comes with a storybook  telling what her life is like in Italy

— The whole family will receive recipes, books and movies preparing them for their trip

— Italy is a wonderful for all ages.

— The best months of the year are April, May, June, September and October with the most mild weather, however anytime in between late March and mid November is great to visit. The first part of December is low season but you will start to see Christmas Markets in Milan and Rome and the city is magical lit up with Christmas lights.

— Some coastal properties in the Amalfi Coast are seasonal and close for the winter.

— May and September are the busiest month of the year to travel to Italy and it is best to book well in advance. July and August will be the months that also are high season in Italy with many tourists from the US and Canada traveling to Europe.

— A valid passport is required with six months before expiration for entry into Italy
